The micro-business that CEO begins each year allows students to develop skills in teamworking, developing a lean business model canvas, analyzing key performance indicators, and marketing a product.
Brett Taylor, TH North entrepreneurship educator, introduced the LBMC this week, and Thompson Thrift CFO Michael Hogan and financial analyst Kevin Womack stopped by to reiterate the value what the students are learning.

By dividing into teams, students have designed, researched, analyzed costs and revenue streams, and practiced pitching to businesses they would like to form a partnership with.
And this is just the beginning of CEO 2026!
