This is the second year for Vigo County CEO, and Teri Bennett has been the program's facilitator. Teri taught middle school English for 35 years and is now a speaker, author, and student facilitator. She mentors others in writing and entrepreneurship.
Teri says witnessing the change in her students is incredibly rewarding. "Students learn about themselves, their classmates, and how that knowledge allows for effective communication and leadership."
Teri has written two books and puts an entrepreneurial spin in pitching, marketing, and speaking about her work with others. Teri says she appreciates the life lessons taught in the CEO program.
"They are not only applicable to young entrepreneurs, but to anyone who wants to be successful in life and relationships." If you haven't read Craig Lindvahl's book, "Things You Wish You Knew Yesterday," Teri says it's worth the time.
