Connie Dawson has been a photographer for 43 years. Owner of Dawson Photography, Connie considers herself semi-retired. However, she took this year's group and head shots for the CEO Class of 2025-26.
Connie's experience with portraits and weddings has given her a great eye for a good photo. For the CEO pictures, she selected the riverbank of Fairbanks Park for a beautiful backdrop. Days prior to the photo shoot, she scoped out the park for the best lighting and angles, and then before she began taking photos, Connie explained to the class what she was thinking for pictures. She made small adjustments to students' hair, jackets, and jewelry to make all of the details perfect. She directed the class much like a conductor does an orchestra to get a beautiful product.
Connie shared, "I love my job." And, it shows.
CEO students may use their head shots for LinkedIn, business cards, applications, and marketing.
