On the first day of class, CEO students began a microbusiness of designing a name badge for everyone. Then, adding shirts to the mix, they had to price and pay for both somehow. Thinking entreprenuerially, they looked for businesses to sponsor the items in exchange for marketing. CEO pitched to businesses why they would benefit from putting their logos on the badges and shirts. And, why would a business want to accept such a proposition? Because CEO students have approximately 30 business leaders speak to the class. Students also visit another 30 businesses on site tours. CEO students wear the shirts and badges as they pitch CEO and work in the community. What a value!
Liam found a website to design the badges, Ava put the design together, and Noah was great in reaching an agreement with City Press to get them made. Ben and Karina drafted the sponsorship agreements, and Leah secured Grayless Heating & Cooling as a sponsor.
Funds generated from the microbusiness are made available to help in planning the next CEO class business. Keep an eye out for the next business and maybe consider being a sponsor or partner.
Thank you, City Press and Grayless Heating & Cooling, for partnering with CEO this year!
