Projecting our voices can feel awkward, embarrassing, and uncomfortable. But, if we have a pitch to make, want to be part of a conversation, or speak before a crowd, we want to be heard.
CEO practiced speaking with a strong but not shouting voice. CEO student Evie Mitchell shared her experience with theater in helping her classmates elevate their voices. Evie instructed students to envision their voice waves bouncing off the wall across the room and coming back to them.
CEO class is a safe space to practice new skills, get a little uncomfortable, and laugh at yourself while doing it.
The class event on January 28 is a murder mystery luncheon. Being heard is essential for guests to enjoy the experience and gather all of the clues.
