The Final Investment!
CEO students carried out the murder mystery luncheon planned, marketed, written, and performed by them. Each year, three major challenges are presented to the students in class--the badge micro-business, the class business, and their individual businesses.
Today, several members of the Terre Haute community joined CEO at The Red Barn for a meal from Anna's Hands Soul Food, a welcome from CEO Board chair Brian Huxford, and a chance to solve the "murder" of teacher Brett Taylor.
The 90-minute luncheon allowed CEO to showcase their writing, acting, and business skills, in collaboration with Jared Ell of NovELL Action, a consulting service for small organizations trying to develop, think, and grow. As detective, Jared Ell led the audience through the details, and guests were able to solve the crime. Being entrepreneurs, CEO students offered extra clues (for a nominal fee) for an advantage if desired.
In the end, Liam Andreas was found guilty of killing Mr. Taylor.
CASE CLOSED!
Thank you, CEO board members, current CEO investors, Molly Barrett of The Red Barn/Maggie & Moe's, Anna's Hands Soul Food, and friends for helping students execute a successful class event!
