The CEO Trade Show is the pinnacle of the 2025-26 year. Eleven students launched businesses this week with a ribbon cutting, and doors opened to the public at the Terre Haute Convention Center. Customers were able to meet the newest entrepreneurs in Vigo County and purchase the goods they produce. Those businesses that provide services were able to begin bookings as well.
The skills CEO students gain in the program are numerous and invaluable. Whether students become business owners or work for a company, they have practiced communication, financial literacy, business management, critical reasoning, and other employability skills. These aren't learned by a book or watching a video. CEO students meet others who do them daily and have learned from their mistakes.
